today is my birthday

i had friends, family and students of mine tell me what i should do to celebrate…

this ‘thing’ had to relate to the #40

from the list i selected and slightly altered 5 suggestions

1 stranger i met on the street sang ‘happy birthday’ to me. i passed out 12 pieces of paper to random persons, announcing, ‘today is my birthday’. i tried on 18 red things. i tossed $4 in 10c coins into a fountain [pond], and made a single wish. 5 persons painted my body.
