ART -

This gallery is open to all artists working in the medium of conceptual art and related artforms. What should you send? Anything we can present with a web site. If the work is purely conceptual, maybe a description would suffice. A documentary drawing? A photo or two would be nice. Just attach scanned images or photos as file attachments and send them along with your e-mail.

Your conceptual work may take other related forms as well. Maybe you do performance art or minimalist sculpture? Describe it and send photos. Maybe you work with sound or video? Send samples as sound files or video files. Sound files or short video clips are acceptable as long as we have enough space on the server. Space is limited so please keep the files as small as possible.

Maybe you do conceptual web art? If so, just tell us the link to your web site and a description of what it is you are doing. Maybe a couple of screen captures? It's up to you. Be creative. Don't forget to send an Artist Profile as well.

ARTICLES -

Have you written an article about conceptual art or something related? Send it and your article may be featured on the gallery's page of articles.

ARTIST PROFILES -

Are you a conceptual artist? Whether or not you are going to submit art to exhibit, you can send an artist profile outlining yourself and your artwork. If you submit an artist profile, please be sure to include the following information:

  • A small photo of yourself in .JPG or .PNG format.

  • Your location (home or base of operations)

  • Brief description of your education in the field of art, if any. You don't have to be a formally trained artist.

  • Brief description of your experiences with art. Have you exhibited anywhere? Been published? Tell us all about it.

  • Most important of all, write a short "artist statement" - This doesn't have to be anything formal. Just tell us what your art is about.

  • If you have a web site, give us the web address and it will be listed at the bottom of your artist profile page. Also tell us if you would like to include your e-mail address at the bottom of your profile.

Disclaimer:
I reserve the right to refuse any art or article submitted to the site, but I will try to exhibit as much of your work as I possibly can. Also, I will try not to censor ANYTHING.
