Welcome

Hi there!  Thanks for dropping by. As you can guess by the title of this blog, my name is Dave Scott and I live just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. I studied photography at The Art Academy of Cincinnati where I graduated in 1983. During the summer of 1982, I set up and taught a new photography program at Camp Wekeela, a summer camp in Maine.

After college, I exhibited my photographs at various galleries and museum exhibitions. I even tried my hand at wedding photography for a short while. Just a few years ago, I finally moved from film photography to digital photography.

I gravitate towards landscape photography, probably because I like to take my camera with me when I am exploring. I also love old houses and boats, so you’ll probably see photos of those too.
